Application Tips

How to use Poudre Velours

  • Application on the eyebrows: For ease of application, use the ARTIST'S STENCIL for eyebrows and fill in the stencil by drawing light lines with the applicator to mimic the hair and create the desired shape. Then, blend the excess and style your eyebrows using the BRUSH N° 4 for the eyes.
  • Eyeliner application: Draw a line at the base of the lashes using the applicator. For a more graphic effect, apply a little product on the back of your hand and collect it using the PRECISION BRUSH N ° 3 that you have previously moistened.
  • Eye shadow application: Place the powder along the lash line, then delicately blend the material onto the mobile eyelid using the PRECISION BRUSH N ° 3 for the eyes.
  • Application as Khol: Place the applicator horizontally on the lower edge of the eye. Close your eye and use back and forth movements along the lash line to drop the pigment evenly.

Is Poudre Velours really safe to use directly on the eye area or is it better to use a brush?

All our products are ophthalmologically tested to ensure they’re safe to use. We created a very thin applicator with a round tip to ensure that the application is easy and comfortable. However, you can also use our Brush N°3 for the eyes to apply Poudre Velours. Simply dab the brush on the applicator to take some product.

Favorite brow product for life !

My ultimate favorite from Chado. I buy them in bulks so it lasts me a year or two. It is super fast to use, pigmented enough to be very precise and the texture is perfect for a natural finish. The applicator is such a revolution in the market. I recommend with no doubt, I would recommend a shade lighter than your natural brow color.
